Description

This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Second Vatican Council’s Nostra Aetate: Declaration on the Relation of the Church to Non-Christian Religions. This document represents a major shift, from defensiveness to openness, in the Catholic Church towards the non-Christian world. In this lecture, Professor Ted Ulrich will explore what he sees as the doctrinal development behind the document.

Ted Ulrich, Ph.D., is professor of theology at the University of St. Thomas where he teaches courses in the Christian theological tradition and world religions.
