Annotation

Drawing on Marx’s theories, Ahrenhoerster examines the limitations and benefits of sports addiction as a method for easing the pain and pressure of life. Looks at Cayetano and Sister Cecilia from “The Gambler, the Nun, and the Radio,” concluding that pursuing sports solely to relieve one’s pain is a poor choice.
