Describes the Hemingway Museum and Collection housed at Cá Erizzo, the 15th century villa where Hemingway stayed briefly while serving with the American Red Cross ambulance corps during World War I. Exhibits provide historical background and cultural context from a variety of perspectives. Highlights of the collection include rare magazines devoted to Hemingway’s life and writings, editions of his works in both English and Italian, and archival materials on the role of American pilots during the conflict.
