Maxwell Perkins’s granddaughter chronicles collaborative efforts to preserve thousands of personal photographs, letters, and manuscript fragments (including a rejected epilogue for For Whom the Bell Tolls) stored in the basement of the Finca Vigía. Announces the launching of a Cuban-American cultural project to preserve the Finca Vigía archives that may also improve political relations between the two countries.
