Hemingway discusses her various roles as the author’s assistant, traveling companion, confidante, and “surrogate” daughter along with her considerable work sorting through and organizing his literary estate after his death. Recalls meetings with such notables as Lauren Bacall, Norman Mailer, and Fidel Castro. Includes over thirty black-and-white photographs and index.
