Annotation
On problematic aspects of Hemingway’s posthumously published materials, criticizing those publications as unreliable representations of the author’s intent. Trogdon reviews several works, including A Moveable Feast, Islands in the Stream, The Dangerous Summer, and The Garden of Eden, noting extensive and intrusive editing resulting in excised plotlines and restructured content. Calls for more systematic plans for correcting and restoring the texts.
